Abstract

The retreat has three main goals. First, it will consider the modalities of engagement between the PSC and A3 in line with the Oran process. Second, it will reflect on the Terms of Reference of the PSC sub-Committees on Sanctions and AU Sub-Committee on Counter-terrorism to strengthen the AU’s sanctions regime and Counter-terrorism frameworks. Finally, it will discuss how to enhance the uptake and implementation of AUC/PSC decisions for peace, security, and prosperity in Africa.
