Abstract

The Military Staff Committee (MSC) of the Peace and Security Council (PSC) of the African Union (AU) held its 22nd meeting, virtually, on Friday, 3 February 2023. The meeting was chaired by Brigadier General Khaya Nkukwana, the Defence Attaché of the Republic of South Africa to the AU, in Ethiopia, in his capacity as the Chairperson of the PSC Military Staff Committee for the month of February 2023. In his briefing, Mr. Zinurine Alghali covered the status of the following Peace Support Operations: ATMIS, MNJTF, SAMIM and EAC Regional Force.
