Abstract

The Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU), at its 148th meeting held on 22 August 2008, was briefed in a consultative session by the President of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), Hon. Gertrude I. Mongella, on the efforts of PAP towards peace building in Africa.
