Abstract

The Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU), at its 226th meeting held on 19 April 2010, was briefed for the review of the United Nations Peace Building Commission (PBC). Council was also briefed by the Commissioner for Peace and Security on the status of implementation of the AU Policy on Post‐Conflict Reconstruction and Development (PCRD), adopted by the AU Executive Council in Banjul, in June 2006.
