Abstract

The two Councils discussed matters of peace and security in Africa, in particular, the situations in Libya, South Sudan, the Sahel Region and the implementation of the Central African Republic Political Agreement. They also discussed the proposal by the African Union Peace and Security Council for the United Nations Security Council to consider a specific dispensation on financing of African Union led Peace Support Operations.
