Abstract

Ports are considered the main drivers of the blue economy, thanks to their capacity to influence social, economic, and environmental realities. This guidance is a tool that helps authorities to gain a better understanding of the process of transformation that is required to become a blue port. It provides advice and tools to fishing ports on how they may become blue ports.
