<div class="field field-name-field-image field-type-image field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><img typeof="foaf:Image" src="https://au.int/sites/default/files/articles/40914-img-EVEh4IFWkAYKJiy.png" width="670" height="446" alt="" /></div></div></div><div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even" property="content:encoded"><p>Catch up with the COVID19 situation in Africa in the month of July on the link below:</p> <p><a href="https://africacdc.org/download/outbreak-brief-81-coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19-pandemic/">https://africacdc.org/download/outbreak-brief-81-coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19-pandemic/</a></p> <p>Meanwhile, on the 8th of July 2021, the MTN Group and the AfricaCDC launched the One More Push initiative, a three-task, phased campaign aimed at:</p> <ol> <li> Reinforcing the importance of/ motivating for continued mask-wearing</li> <li> Driving vaccine safety and influencing vaccine acceptance</li> <li> Ultimately celebrating vaccine adoption.</li> </ol> <p>This initiative is a seamless, natural extension of the Africa Union’s ‘Adapted Africa Joint Continental Strategy for COVID-19 Pandemic’ and focuses on three key levers – ‘Enhance Prevention, Enhance Monitoring and Enhance Treatment’.
