Respect des Critères de Convergence Versus Harmonisation des Critères de Convergence : Etude Comparative des Performances des Indicateurs de Convergence Economique dans la Zone Franc en Afrique (UEMOA et CEMAC)

Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify and compare the determinants and performance of economic integration in the monetary unions of the Franc Zone in Africa through the study of the dynamics of convergences of the economies of member States. To attain this objective, the economies of the WAEMU and CEMAC zones respctively were covered in a comparative study revolving around some date relating to macroeocomic convergence indicators, namely, inflation, rate of investment, budget balance, indebtedness, etc.
