The liberalization of information has led almost everywhere in Africa to the creation of new private enterprises. Unlike the state media, which could easily count on large operating subsidies, private companies were at their early stages confronted to the challenge of financial stability and profitability. Faced with constraints of all kinds, they had to find alternatives.
