The article discusses the history of nutrition research conducted by Dr. Eria Muwazi and blood collection in Buganda from 1935 to 1970. The author reflects on analysis from author Luise White, the insurrection as a result of the medical experiments on children, and acute malnutrition. The politics and government in Buganda are also discussed.
