AGENDA 2063: THE VISION FOR 2063

Abstract

The African Union Vision and the seven aspirations emanate from extensive consultations from stake- holders, cutting across all spheres of the Africa people. With these aspirations, the African people reflect their desire for shared prosperity and well-being, for unity and integration, for a continent of free citizens and expanded horizons, where the full potential of women and youth, boys and girls are realized, and with freedom from fear, disease and want.

La vision de l’Union africaine et les sept aspirations émanent de larges consultations des parties prenantes qui touchent à toutes les sphères de la population africaine. Avec ces aspirations, les peuples africains reflètent leur désir de prospérité partagée et de bien-être, d’unité et d’intégration, d’un continent de citoyens libres et d’horizons plus larges où le plein potentiel des femmes et des jeunes, garçons et filles se réalise et où ils sont à l’abri de la peur, de la maladie et du besoin.
