Abstract

This report highlights what the Commission has done in coordinating efforts towards continental integration and development. Some of the issues covered include the logical conclusion of the 50th Anniversary Celebrations, consolidation of work on Agenda 2063, efforts to resolve conflicts within the continent, the theme of “2014 the year of Agriculture and Food Security”, work on alternative sources of funding and other initiatives such as infrastructure, regional integration, industrialization, human resources development and climate change.
