Mission report on the qualitative and quantitative aspect of teacher training in Somalia - Describes pre-service teacher training and in-service teacher training for primary school teachers, draws attention to difficulties as regards curriculum development, shortage of textbooks, teaching materials and educational equipment, raises the problem of the language of instruction since the adoption of English and Arabic in schools, outlines the programme for the education of women
