This is the first progress report of the Global Accelerator on Jobs and Social Protection for Just Transitions for the period January 2023 to April 2024.The Global Accelerator was launched in September 2021 by the UN Secretary-General to accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by overcoming challenges of poverty and inequality, including the fact that 4 billion people are excluded from social protection.
