This paper deals with the process that led Brazil from an agrarian society to the present neoliberal society. Brazil opening up to the economy, redefining the state’s role and privatizing of the most of the state-owned company found the way to economic recovery although an external vulnerability remain. The book deals also with training methodology focusing on agribusiness and rural development in the above mention period.
