Provisional Programme of Work for the Month of September 2022 as Adopted by the Peace and Security Council on 12 August 2022.

Abstract

The PSC adopted its September 2022 Provisional Programme of Work in its 1099th meeting on 12 August 2022. In September, the Council will be chaired by Ghana. Among the activities lined up for September include Africa Amnesty Month activity in Togo; Stakeholders’ engagement field mission in Niger on terrorism, transition and reconciliation; Inaugural annual consultative meeting between the PSC and the CSOs; Consideration of the status report on the implementation of continental Structural Conflict Prevention Framework; Update on some countries in political transition (Burkina Faso, Chad, Guinea, and Mali); Consideration of the political and security situations in the Abyei region; among others.
