Authors: FAO
Abstract: This paper addresses one of the key issues under negotiation for Article 6 of the Paris Agreement: the permanence of emission reductions. Carbon crediting programmes offer incentives by issuing tradable credits for each tonne of CO2 equivalent reduced or removed. These credits often face a challenge called "non-permanence" or reversal risk, where carbon stored in reservoirs like forests and soils may be rereleased due to natural or human-induced events.</summary>

Authors: FAO; CIRAD; RUAF;
Abstract: This literature review seeks to clarify the concept of resilience in the context of city region food systems (CRFS). It highlights key principles that could strengthen CRFS resilience and focuses on the resilience capacities within these systems, examining the attributes needed to develop and support these capacities. Using the COVID-19 pandemic as a case study, the report explores the impacts, individual responses, and collective actions that reveal the complexities of CRFS.</summary>
